Accounting Manager/Lead

Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a team of account associates in providing quality accounting and taxation services.
• Manage and ensure the preparation of financial reports and tax by the team in accordance with accounting standards.
• Manage the preparation of full sets of accounts and partial sets of accounts for various companies across multiple industries, including reconciliation, cash flow, and closing.
• Handle tax structuring/planning, tax audit and dealing with tax authorities.
• Ensure timely submission of deliverables to clients.
• Supervise, mentor and provide guidance to a team of associates to achieve excellence in work.
• Constantly stay updated with new regulations and accounting standards and assist in staff training, such as conducting of training sessions for staff.
• Identify and drive process improvement within the department.
• Work with Director in expanding client portfolio, including meeting potential clients, drafting proposals for new assignments and managing existing accounting client portfolio
• Other ad-hoc assignments from Director
